Absentee/Phone Bids

Absentee/Phone Bids will always be accepted for any sale item valued at $25.00 or more at one of our auctions. We require a credit card to be on file and we accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover
Absentee Bidder Guidelines
1)    We try to accurately describe all items. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. No warranties are expressed or implied.
2)    In order to secure an absentee bid, we require that you utilize a credit card. Charges will be applied at the end of the auction.
3) Give us a call at 217-766-7308 or email us at bnauctionhouse@gmail.com in order to receive an absentee bidder packet from us.
4) Simply fill out the required information and return the completed absentee bidder form to B-N Auction House (BNAH).
5) Absentee bidder forms must be returned to BNAH two full days prior to the date of sale in order to be accepted.
6)    You will be notified within 48 hours if you are the winning bidder.
7)    All absentee bids are executed competitively as if you were there. The auctioneer will be the final judge on all disputes.
8)    We work very hard not to overlook any absentee bids. However, we are not responsible for missed absentee bids.
9)    In bidding on any item, you are accepting the terms listed.
10)  Absentee bids may be deleted if the auctioneer feels there is valid reason such as condition or conflict.
11)  We usually ship, if needed, within 24-48 hours (insurance required), however, allow 2-3 weeks shipping time.
12)  Successful absentee bidders will be charged actual shipping (if needed), insurance, and packaging material cost.
13)  There is a 10% buyers premium on all absentee bids to cover additional labor cost in handling absentee bid items.
Phone Bidder Guidelines:
1)    We try to accurately describe all items. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. No warranties are expressed or implied.
2)    In order to bid via phone, we require that you be pre-registered and have a credit card on file.
3)    Give us a call at 217-766-7308 or email us at nthrift@gmail.com in order to receive a phone bidder packet from us.
4)    Simply fill out the required information and return the completed phone bidder form to Neighbor Hood Auction House (NAH).
5)    Phone bidder forms must be returned to NAH two full days prior to the date of sale in order to be accepted.
6)    We work very hard to overlook any phone bids. However, we are not responsible for missed phone bids.
7)    You will need to be available the day of the sale via phone.
8)    Our staff will call you at the number listed when your item is about to be sold. In order to bid, you will have to be available.
9)    In bidding on any item, you are accepting the terms listed.
10)  One of our staff members will work with you via phone to actively bid on your item being sold.
